ENERCON's Chief Engineering Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer to join the team in the Kennesaw, GA or FT Worth, TX office location. Responsibilities

A typical day involves preparing and reviewing mechanical engineering products like calculations, drawings, and specifications, while ensuring quality and compliance. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers in areas such as fluid mechanics and HVAC, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project execution and business development.

 

  • Prepare, review and support development of various engineering products associated with mechanical engineering. Engineering products include calculations, drawings, modification packages, purchase/design specifications, and studies
  • Provide mentoring and training to grow technical expertise of other engineers in specific mechanical engineering areas such as fluid mechanics, HVAC, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, fans, etc
  • Perform subject matter expert reviews of engineering products involving mechanical engineering
  • Collaborate and ensure effective teamwork with other ENERCON engineering groups for customer support, execution of projects, and business development
  • Support occasional site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop cost-effective problem resolutions
  • Work across multi-disciplined teams. Many projects are multi-disciplined and require interface with engineers from other groups and offices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the mechanical engineering in the field
  • Extensive expertise with pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, and/or HVAC
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, but typically ranging from 1-5 days
