Overview

Our Environmental Services Group is currently looking for an experienced Part Time Due Diligence Specialist with UK / EU knowledge to join our team. In this role, you will perform desktop reviews, evaluate report findings and provide defensible recommendations. Bring your experience in environmental consulting to ENERCON to help us shape the future. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be able to conduct review of environmental reports for UK and EU sites, evaluate findings within regulatory frameworks, provide sound recommendations based on site conditions and risk tolerance, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

 

  • Provide defensible recommendations based on site conditions presented in reports, regulatory framework, and risk tolerance
  • Perform desktop reviews of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and other environmental reports, specifically for sites in the UK and EU countries
  • Evaluate report findings based on the regulatory framework in the country of origin and the client’s requisite scope of work
  • Maintain confidentiality related to property and client-sensitive information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Construction, or related Sciences field AND a minimum of 7 years in environmental consulting and due diligence experience, including Phase I ESAs
  • Ability to complete multiple projects concurrently with varying scopes of work within short timeframes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills
  • Computer skills including knowledge of MS Office Suite and Parcel platform
  • Working knowledge of environmental regulations in the UK and EU countries
