ENERCON serves several markets throughout the energy sector, including data centers, mission critical facilities, the federal government, industrial, nuclear power, power delivery, grid infrastructure, power generation, and renewable energy.

Due to growth, ENERCON is seeking an Engineering Director.  This position will be located in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. For the right candidate other EFS office locations will be considered.

• Collaborate with Division VP to develop yearly budget and long range plan (LRP) for your team
• Establish the direction and vision to support your customers and achieve your LRP
  Responsible for division revenue and gross margins per the yearly budget
  Provide oversight of projects, ensuring high quality, schedule adherence and budget compliance
• Final Arbiter for difference of professional opinion
• Provide input to proposal win strategies and final approval of proposals as appropriate
• Manage a team via your Engineering Manager and Project Management Supervisor (matrixed in EFS)
• Coordinate and work closely with your Client Services Manager for new business development opportunities and support business meetings with existing clients to increase business

• BS Degree in Engineering
• PE license required
• 15+ years of design/analysis Engineering experience
• 5+ years' experience of supervising/managing an engineering organization
• Demonstrated technical expertise in one or more broad areas of engineering
• Knowledge of applicable governmental codes and industry standards
• Knowledge of Department of Energy projects and sites preferred
• Demonstrated strong experience in proposal development, strategic planning, presentation and negotiations
• Ability to travel overnight 25+%
• Must be a US Citizen
