Overview

Join ENERCON as a Civil/Structural or Instrumentation & Controls Project Engineer. This role will involve developing winning engineering proposals with technical staff, executing projects within budget and schedule constraints, and maintaining robust client relationships. With your proven management skills, you'll oversee project schedules, financials, and reporting while actively supporting marketing endeavors to propel business growth. If you have 5 years of nuclear work experience as an engineer or a project manager and are ready to drive success, this role is for you. This role is available in the following locations:

 

  • King of Prussia, PA
  • Middletown, PA

  • Project Management & Execution: Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budget. Understand project schedules, project management plans, and manage project staff to meet requirements. Formulate/develop detailed project reports. Understand project financials and report regularly to management on financial status and project performance
  • Technical Leadership & Proposal Development: Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader to ensure project solution and quality goals are met. Work with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical engineering proposals
  • Client Relations & Marketing: Foster and maintain working relations with clients, acting as a single point of contact for assigned projects. Manage client interactions, negotiate and control project scope to client and company's satisfaction. Aggressively support marketing efforts, including identifying new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural, Electrical, Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering (or a related field) OR PMP Certification and 8 years' applicable experience
  • Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
  • Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
  • Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
  • Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks

  • If a salary range is listed, it reflects the typical range for this full-time position based on the role, level, and location. Individual compensation within the range will be determined by factors such as work location, relevant experience, job-related skills, and education or training.
