Overview

You'll help lead complex energy projects by supporting project management, coordinating field and design activities, and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of critical power systems. ENERCON's Energy Group is seeking an Onsite Construction Site Lead to join the team based at our Pasco County, Florida location. This position also offers flexibility with opportunities in: 

  • Tampa, FL
  • Dallas, TX

Responsibilities

In this role, you will drive progress by connecting teams, solving technical challenges, and ensuring every detail—from design to field execution—supports the safe and successful delivery of complex energy projects.

  • Project Management & Coordination: Provide project management support and report to PM. Track project schedules and resource loading. Coordinate attendance at design review meetings. Coordinate site deliverable reviews and approvals
  • Engineering & Technical Support: Provide request for information (RFI). Prepare and/or review design change packages and engineering deliverables. Perform/assist with walk-downs and data gathering
  • Plant Operations & Maintenance: Prepare and review power plant generation equipment and maintenance programs. Large-scale plant outage experience required
  • Field & Contractor Oversight: Work with contractors and subcontractors in the field

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field OR 15 years of experience in data centers, mission critical facilities, the federal government, industrial, nuclear power, power delivery, grid infrastructure, power generation, or renewable energy
  • Preferred candidate will typically have a minimum 10+ years of experience with Power Generation and Waste to Energy Plants
  • General knowledge of power plant systems and design processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Asset management background preferred
